The Finance Committee on 4th December, 1930, voted the sum of $915 to meet doctors' and opticians' fees in accordance with a decision that the previous practice of deposits should be replaced by a system of crediting Revenue with the sums paid by parents and debiting Expendi- ture with the fees in question. A vote for $2,500 is now requested in order to continue the new practice in 1931, no provision having been made in the Estimates for this year. The Revenue collected under Entrance Hees" will fully cover the Expenditure. (C.S.O. 2145/15.)
